In February, the Trine SigEp Executive Board ventured to Carlson Leadership Academy (CLA) in Chicago. CLA is a regional conference that SigEps from the surrounding states attend each year. Carlson offers hands-on leadership training to all attendees while learning about their respective executive board positions. Many brothers use this time to gather new ideas from their peers to lead their fellow brothers to a better and brighter future.
All the representatives from SigEp’s Indiana-Theta chapter enjoyed spending time their brothers in Chicago while also taking in tons of information from their group leaders each day. The information and skills learned each day is the backbone for how our chapter is ran for the remainder of the year. Each brother has had many takeaways from their sessions, and they are very excited to help their chapter grow.
Our very own Trent Quigley was recognized for attending Ruck Leadership Institute in the summer of 2018. Ruck Leadership Academy is a program where scholars are instructed from experienced professionals to create culture change by fulfilling his own leadership potential. He spent five days in Richmond, Virginia, on the campus where Sigma Phi Epsilon was founded. The leadership skills, confidence, and problem solving skills that Trent was taught in Viriginia has truly impacted our chapter at Trine for the better.
